This flash fly is John Baker's fly of the year in 2008. The flash fly
was the perfect streamer for swinging flies.

Materials -

Tread - uni-tread white 3/0 or 6/0

Hook - size 8 streamer

Bead - any style cone, brass, silver, orange, ect...

Tail - white marabou

Body - UV polar chenille

1.) Apply bead and thread to hook shank

2.) Add white marabou for the tail approximately the lengh of the hook shank

3.) Palmer UV polar chenille on the hook shank stroking the fibers back as wrapping

4.) Tie off the tread and whip finish and done
