Someone needed for the demo this month!!

We are now back at Gander Mountain on the 1st, 3rd & 4th Thursday of each month tying flies. Please feel free to stop by and check things out if interested in fly fishing and tying.

Also we are still meeting at the club house on the 2nd Thursday of each month in McKean. Click to find directions to the club house, hope to see you there.

The winner of the fly rod and reel was Joey Schack of Erie, PA. Net Proceeds from the raffle was $835.00 with all the monies going toward the Fruit Basket Program.

March 5th, 6th & 7th - Erie Outdoor Show, anyone interested in tying at the show call Jim Sharpe to sign up.

March 6th - Folly's Seminar featuring Tony Dranzo, owner of Addicted Angler and Don Hershfeld, owner of Streams and Dreams Retreat. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. till 2:30 p.m. You can call Follys at 814-474-5730 for more information.

March 7th - Penns Wood Cabin Fever in Cranberry, Pa.

March 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th - Gander Mountain Fly Tying classes 7PM.  Need lots of helpers for the classes.

March 20th & 21st - Chautaqua Fly Show located in Mayville, NY.

April 2nd - Good Friday Outing, more information at the March meeting.

April 3rd - Linesville Open House from 10- 3:30., need four tiers this day.

Jim Sharpe will be selling window decals for you car to show everyone you are a proud member of GCOFT. Decals are $4.00 and can be purchased from Jim at any monthly meeting. We also have new hats with our new fly logo, and they are $14.00

If you have not been to the clubhouse recently, think about coming out when you can. There are always plenty of helpful people who can assist you with any fly-fishing or fly-tying questions. Also consider presenting a demonstration for the members. Basic through advanced demonstrations are welcomed.
