Demo - Jim Sharpe and Jim Pfendler will be presenting a slide show of their up coming trip to Alaska.

Also we are still meeting at the club house on the 2nd Thursday of each month in McKean. Click to find directions to the club house, hope to see you there.

The winner of the fly rod and reel was Joey Schack of Erie, PA. Net Proceeds from the raffle was $835.00 with all the monies going toward the Fruit Basket Program.

LATEST NEWS AND EVENTS.............

August 14th - This is New Mike's annual picnic, more information at up coming meetings.

August 21st - 8:00 - Youth Field Days at the club grounds, we will be needing tiers for this event. Anyone who is interested we will be meeting for breakfast at Lorie's Wild Ridge on RT 20 at 7:00 a.m.

October 2nd - PA Steelhead Picnic at Shades Beach, noon to 6:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from Steelhead Members or at the door.


Jim Sharpe will be selling window decals for you car to show everyone you are a proud member of GCOFT. Decals are $4.00 and can be purchased from Jim at any monthly meeting. We also have new hats with our new fly logo, and they are $14.00

If you have not been to the clubhouse recently, think about coming out when you can. There are always plenty of helpful people who can assist you with any fly-fishing or fly-tying questions. Also consider presenting a demonstration for the members. Basic through advanced demonstrations are welcomed.
